Barrel for Rainwater Collection

Seeking a reliable and committed production partner, a landscaping customer contracted EnviCor Enterprises LLC to manage the design, development, and manufacturing of a residential rainwater collection system. EnviCor worked closely with the customer to build this new product from scratch, instilling valuable and competitive features while upholding build quality and manufacturability.

Project work began with design and manufacturing layout for the high end 95-gallon rain collection vessel that would be suitable in appearance for use in high-end homes in upscale communities. EnviCor employs medium density polyethylene for build material, allowing for a wide variety of architecturally pleasing stone effects for a more appealing finish. Rotary molding – a procedure well suited for large hollow parts such as this – is used as the primary manufacturing method. Additional manufacturing refinements, such as mold inserts for spigots and a mold-in screen for the lid, are designed into the process. Tolerances are held at a substantially accurate ±1/32.”

EnviCor continues to produce about 200 of these units annually, implementing cosmetic and structural quality control tests within the final production process. Fast turnarounds of two weeks are maintained on all orders, including final packaging and distribution.
